Eurythmics was a band with lots of negative publicity back in the 80s. With Annie Lennox her female atraction there was always something to nag about for the media. Fortunately they used it as a force to continue and begom stonger and define a sound of their own.
Madonna has contributed a lot to the world of pop music, in all kinds of formats and styles. One track I always have loved because of it’s great remixes was Ray of light.
Brandy & Monica – The boy is mine is one of those numbers that contributed to the definition of Contemporary R&B in the late 90s. To payback some respect to the track and emphasise that the acapella of this track can still compete these days it is the acapella of the month October.
Una Mas had in 2001 a small succes with I will follow. Since I heared the track in a mashup mix from Ben Liebrand I completely started to love the acapella and use it whenever possible.
Unfortunately they are no longer together but Liberty X made some nice hits during there existence with as climax Just a little. As nice reminder is Just a little the acapella of the month.
